Genese Dial Thermometers (Temperature Gauges / Switches) always reliably measure and monitor temperature, it works on the bimetal expansion or liquid or gas actuation principle and it enables scale range span of (-)200 to (+)800°C with class 1 accuracy, fast response, high repeatability, stability and resilience to environmental influences. It is available with diverse process connection designs, stem diameters and stem lengths enable a flexible measuring point design, liquid or gas filled gauges with capillary extensions are particularly versatile. Also available with electrical contact / switch housed in weatherproof or flameproof enclosures suitable to use under extreme environmental conditions.  Individual requirements are accurately implemented through constant contact with users, and the product range is continuously supplemented through tailored continued developments.

Bimetal Dial Thermometer (Temperature Gauge):

It converts the media temperature into mechanical displacement using a bimetallic strip consisting of two different metals having different coefficients of thermal expansion. Its advantages are simple and robust/rugged design, less expensive than any other thermometers, fully mechanical and do not require any power source to indicate, easy installation and maintenance, Nearly linear response to temperature change.  It offers (-)50 to (+)600°C range span with class 1 accuracy, fast response, high repeatability, low hysteresis, Hermetically sealed weatherproof case, Rigid stem, bottom or back or every angle entry enables local / direct mounting.

Gas Filled Dial Thermometer (Temperature Gauge):

Temperature measurement based on gas actuation principle.  A temperature variation acting on the gas proportionately actuates the pressure of the constant volume gas contained within the stem/capillary. It overcomes temperature range imitations of bimetal and liquid filled thermometers. It offers (-)200 to (+)800°C range with class 1 accuracy, divers process connections, stem dia, stem length, capillary length as long as 30 Mtrs. without any loss of accuracy.  It offers fast response, high repeatability, stability, hermetically sealed weatherproof case, case compensation, capillary tube, rigid stem with bottom or back or every angle entry construction enables local/direct/remote mounting. The gas used in it is non-polluting, non hazardous, non toxic, environment friendly and it is relatively inert and not flammable make the system highly reliable and ideal choice of almost all temperature measurement/monitor/control applications. Highly suitable to use in sanitary / hygiene applications where mercury filled gauges are not allowed.

Liquid Filled Dial Thermometer (Temperature Gauge):

Temperature measurement based on liquid expansion principle.  A temperature variation acting on the liquid proportionately alters the pressure of the constant volume liquid contained within the stem/capillary.  It offers (-)30 to 250°C range span with class 1 accuracy, diverse process connections, stem dia, stem length, rigid stem, capillary length as long as 5 Mtrs. Main advantage is minimum 30mm immersion length possible for sensing which makes it suitable for lower line sizes.  It offers fast response, high repeatability, stability, hermetically sealed weatherproof case, case compensation, capillary tube, rigid stem with bottom or back or every angle entry construction enables local/direct/remote mounting.  The liquid used is organic, non-polluting, non hazardous, non toxic, environment friendly making the system highly reliable and ideal choice of almost all low temperature

measurement/monitor/control applications. Highly suitable to use in sanitary / hygiene applications where mercury filled gauges are not allowed.

Temperature Indicating Switch:

1. Bimetal temperature gauge with 1 SPST Switch, all SS construction, weatherproof case, Rigid stem, bottom, back, or every angle entry for local / direct mounting offered.
2. Liquid filled temperature gauge with 1 SPST Switch, all SS construction, weatherproof case, Rigid stem, bottom, back, or every angle entry for local / direct mounting and Back entry with Capillary extension offered for remote mounting.
3. Gas filled temperature gauge with 1 or 2 SPST, 1 or 2 SPDT micro switch, SS/Aluminium Weatherproof case, Rigid stem, bottom, back, or every angle entry for local / direct mounting and Bottom entry-surface mounting / Bottom entry-2″ pipe mounting with Capillary extension offered for remote mounting.
4. Gas filled temperature gauge with 1 or 2 SPDT micro switch, Aluminium Flameproof IIA, IIB or Flameproof IIC case, Bottom entry-surface mounting / Bottom entry-2″ pipe mounting with Capillary extension offered for remote mounting.

We follow the standards EN13190-2001, DIN16203, 16204, 16205 & 16206 for manufacturing, testing and calibration of Temperature Gauges (Dial Thermometers).  Reference Standards are ASME B40.3, EN13190, IS/IEC60947/IEC60529, SAMA CI. IB, IIIB, VB etc…

In-house Test certificate, Calibration certificate, Material test certificate, Ingress protection certificate. Third party certificates CE, ATEX, GOST-R, GOST Pattern approval, Calibration certificates from NABL available on request.  Third party witness inspection/testing by BV, DNV, TUV, Lloyds, ABS, Moody, EIL, CEIL, etc. offered on request.
